Ini adalah sebahagian cuppy cakes yang saya buat..ya betul..sungguh simple..tapi sedap dimakan..bukan sponge cake ye..tapi butter cake..dgn buttercream..simple but made with style...this was in 2009..sekarang masih terima tempahan...sila quote nak berapa ya...per cup cake termasuk packaging plastik adalah RM 2.50 size besar, size medium ialah RM 2.20...thank you...

Blog overhaul for future plans..

Cewah-cewah..masih tak tido pukul 4 pagi ni..besok pagi nak buat biskut larat ke..ish..xpe2..akak ku gagahkan jugak..hari ini..pagi yang dingin ini..saya telah melaksanankan sebahagian tugas mengubahsuai blog saya..cewah..siap dah pandai bubuh widget..em..buat apa nak overhaul bagai nih..ooo...COMING SOON.....

All is well..Alhamdulillah..Firdausz and Fifi's Engagement...

Alhamdulillah..all is well..all went well despite the difficulties we faced throughout my engagement..we started by planning something ridiculous but let's not go into detail..hahaha..the first thing is getting engage is the first step of having a mutual agreement with your partner..I do not know about other people..but I feel a little different..It is like you are bound to your commitment..so..yes..engagement is not a step you for you to go flirty around anymore..this is like a prep stage to the next BIG stage..this is the time you will try to do your best to..not have a grand wedding..but learn responsibility to be future husbands and wives..we all know this..but it's easier said than done..then just try and don't give up...lets just face it..we all have flaws..and that is why we MUST try to cover the loopholes..walaweh..simpang siur la ckp..hehe..anyway..yup...this is the whole idea of Fifi entering the next BIGGY stage.Ouchh!..well..the ceremony has ended..and guess what?..I baked the desserts for hantaran : the cake, the BAKLAVA (What's that..you will know..just go on and read my post) and the truffles..why the hell in the world I gotta do this..my fiance gave me this bulky dessert book..and I say why not give a shot..and yeah..the best part is..I saved a bit of my money (I will not fork out my money for a cake I can bake, and for a dessert a size of your palm that costs RM 15)..and aren't I impressed of myself??..hell yeah..lets follow me till the end...

Out of the blue Cake

   Macam lagu MLTR..out of the blue..sajela to give it such a name..this cake..to tell you the truth..I have never decorated a cake..to make sure that I don't create a big mess of not buying a ready made cake.. I just decorate the borders of the cake..(tu pun hancus because x tau nak control piping bag..hahah)..and I bought the blue fondant flower from the bakery store....the cake is made using Genoise.. a french style sponge cake..senang je nak buat..if you understand the technique and x ngelat..I was afraid the cake would turn out too dry or even worse bantat..but it did't..it turn out exactly  like the photo in the book...then after letting it cool..I cut out uneven texture..so that the cake will be round and easier to spread the icing...(I xde cake stand..instead I used a plate..which is ok for me..a cake stand is too expensive..huhu)..then I cut the cake horizontally into 2 parts and spread it with whip cream and sprinkled chopped walnuts in between layers..then I spread the choc icing..(messiest job ever..huhu)..but yup..it does not look professional..but I think its quite cool for a hantaran..hehe..I f you guys want to know how to bake genoise..just google up or watch youtube..tons of info on the net these days..just make sure to follow step by step guide..

Baklava

The BAKLAVA..wth is that??..huh..it's a middle eastern dessert made from nuts, greek dough (phyllo dough), honey, rose water and sugar..nama je mcm volcanic..bhn x gempak pun..huhu..except for the phyllo dough..gak gempak nak carik..but take it easy..dekat cold storage ade..don't mistake it for popiah sheets..hahaha..looks like but it's not..it's as thin as a tissue..not made in Malaysia..instead of giving halwa or other manisan, the first time I took a look at the baklava..I fell in love with the recipe..fuiyoo..haha..I just thought it is something traditional and presentable..where to find kalau xnk buat tp mau melantak saje?..emm  find it at your nearest middle eastern shop..there's a restaurant in Ampang point called TARBUSH..they sell it at RM 15 if I'm not mistaken..for 4 or 5 pieces..gle mahal..I'd keep it for a month..huhu..anyway..if you want to try to DIY..just make sure you can seriously tahan the phyllo sheets..it tears up easily..so hard to handle..huhu..the end product is a manisan that is magical (try to pour hot honey+rosewater syrup on the baked baklava and you will see miracle)..it's kind of sticky2.but won't stick to your fingers..the syrup makes it sticky..

Chocolate Truffles

well..truffles..this are'nt the smelly ones..haha..these are choc truffles bolat2 dibolatkan dgn pistachios.....this one plg sng nak buat..but you really have to use ingredients exactly mcm dlm recipe the most crucial item is the chocolate itself....mine taste fine but the texture is a bit senang cair..huhu..this one pun if you want the recipe..google up..so easy nak buat..I made pagi2..unfortunately..ptg masih lembik..then last2 make round balls at 12 midnight...tu pun still lembik..put in the fridge...esoknye..half an hour rombongan lelaki nak dtg baru keluarkn from the fridge...hahahaha...

The last year birthday cake!!

Choc filled custard cake

Hehehe...I made this cake last year..around February..but I did not managed to get the picture until recently I downloaded it from my muncit's fb..hahahaha...well..it really is a nice cake(sampai didi nangis kut sbb x dpt mkn..huhu..kesian dia)..well..It was a good memory..because we bwk didi pergi tasik perdana..had this picnic..naek boat..then hujan..waited for the rain to stop...what a memory..hahaha..lps tu bwk didi pergi kfc..because dia kte lapar(which I think he made this up because kids like to eat outside..hahha..layanla kan)..but the point of picnic was to celebrate my muncit's b'day..hahaha...anyway..had fun..let's get back to the cake..it's a cake layered with custard..and covered with choc frosting..the yellow icing just lit the cake up I guess..whoever nak order..boleh..it's RM 22 per cake...and weighs almost a kilo..yup..i'ts a heavy yet small cake because it's not sponge cake..I recommend this for private home events..

Selesai sebulan wajib berpuasa...ape khabar terkini?

Selama sebulan berpuasa byk betul kerja I.  Tapi walau bagaimanapun, berjaya juge buat dan jual kuih raya...sebelum saya berkata2 lebih jauh..saya menyusun 10 jari memohon maaf atas kekhilafan saya. mesti ada yang bertanya, x terganggu ke belajar kalau buat kuih...trus terang saya katakan..tersangatla stress..lebih2 lagi pada minngu terakhir nak cuti raya..byk betul beban keje smpai semggu x cukup tido..kalau org kte..tu la psl..siapa suruh jual kuih..utamakan pelajaran..ye..betul..saya cari penyakit..huhu..tetapi saya seronok dan puas hati krn tau pd usia muda ni..mcm2 saya boleh buat. saya percaya Allah s.w.t bagi peluang pada saya untuk belajar mcm2 bulan puasa ni..byk betul kemudahan dia bagi walaupun dugaan nye pun ade juga..ape saya nak kongsi..saya ni kurg penyabar..tapi saya percaya pada perkataan sungguh2..saya pun bknla org yang bersungguh..tp Alhamdullillah...semua yang saya dan org sekeliling buat dgn bersungguh2..pasti hasilnye..bagus...hehe..di tambah kalau ade keihlasan..lagila byk nikmatnye..yey!..knp gmbr kuih kan?..sajela nak tunjuk..kuih yang telah disiap packing dan telah pun selesai dijual.

Salam kepada semua org yang saya kenali, Bulan Ramadhan datang lagi. Semoga kita semua dapatla memenuhi bulan Ramadhan ni dengan amalan2 yang mulia kerana setahun sekali saje kita berpuasa. Pahala pada bulan ni pula berganda2..pada yang berpuasa berbuka biarla berpada2..di samping berpuasa ramaila yang nak sediakan persiapan raya..baju raya...tudung raya..kasut raya..kereta raya...mcm mana pulak kuih raya?.. mesti la ada jugak...kalau rasa larat nak buat. bole la turun ke dapur lepas tarawih. kalau x brape larat.. beli aje la.. kalau nak beli... adala 3 pilihan. semuanye dijamin sedap.. harga choc chip cookies tanpa kacang ialah RM 20.. dengan kacang ialah RM 21.. berat dalam 400 gm.. sebab saya baru nak buat biskut minggu depan.. contoh bekas seperti di atas. Saya x buat biskut diatas. Cuma ambil contoh bekas sahaja.. Di bawah ni contoh biskut..
